Affinity Partnerships is seeking an enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to help support the mental health and SEN needs of pupils across Romford in a range of schools. The role involves 1:1 and classroom support, plus running activities outside the classroom as needed, with full guidance provided.
The position is full-time with opportunities for additional training and potential progression to a contract with a school for the right candidate.

In recent years there is a massive focus on supporting the mental health and SEN needs of pupils in mainstream and SEN schools. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 or general classroom basis to start in September, for the rest of the Academic Year in a range of schools across Romford (with an option of progressing onto contract with the right school). As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be involved in not only supporting pupils within the classroom but will also be comfortable with running activities with the pupil/s outside the classroom as well. Alongside the class teacher, you will also provide support with ensuring the right support is in place for the students.
This position is on a full time basis and full support and guidance will be given. There will also be opportunities to complete addtional training whilst in the role. Pay is 90- 115 per day, based on experience.

This would be a great opportunity for someone that has experience supporting pupils in school or an alternative setting but we will also be considering people without this experience.
