Job summary

Academics is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Esher, Surrey. You will support pupils aged 7-17 with SEMH, MLD and autism, assisting the class teacher and delivering 1:1 or small-group support.

You will follow safeguarding guidelines, communicate effectively with staff and families, and attend staff meetings and CPD. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, term time only, with a daily rate of 93–105 GBP, dependent on qualifications and

This specialist primary and secondary school in Esher is looking for compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant's (SEN TA) to join the team. The school supports children and young people aged 7-17 (Years 3-12) who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and/or Autism Spectrum conditions. These pupils may have experienced disrupted education, school refusal, anxiety or exclusion, find mainstream setting overwhelming, need small groups, high adult consistency and trusted relationships to succeed.
