Job summary

Mill Ford School is seeking dedicated support staff to assist pupils aged 3-19 with complex needs including autistic spectrum conditions and learning difficulties. You will provide 1:1 support, assist with classroom activities and implement individual education plans under supervision.

There is a strong emphasis on safeguarding, resilience and teamwork. Training is provided, with opportunities for professional development and a nurturing, child-centred work environment at Mill Ford Rochford and

Qualifications

• Qualification in supporting teaching and learning or health and social care.
• Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English (or higher).
• Experience with special needs pupils desirable; strong resilience.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with complex needs and ASC/SLD, including 1:1 support.
• Administer medication following training.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and other support agencies.
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing initiatives.
