Job summary

Special Partnership Trust is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join Mill Water School, an all-age special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, located in East Devon. You will support learners with bespoke learning and communication needs, working within class teams to maximise outcomes.

Experience with SEND is preferred, and strong teamwork, resilience, and a good sense of humour are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting children's learning and recording holistic achievements is desirable.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND is preferred.
• Ability to work positively within a team of classroom assistants is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to access bespoke learning and communication packages.
• Collaborate with class teams and other classroom assistants to maximise pupil learning.
• Contribute to an inspiring learning environment and record holistic achievements.
• Participate in induction training and ongoing professional development.
