Job summary

Academics Agency is seeking exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants to join Doncaster's specialist classrooms this September. You will support pupils with autism, ADHD and learning difficulties in 1:1 and small-group settings, helping them engage and progress.

The role offers weekly pay, term-time only work, and free CPD from autism-friendly practice. A dedicated consultant will guide onboarding and provide ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualified—or with substantial equivalent experience in education, childcare, or health settings.
• Proven SEN experience—whether in schools, residential care, or community programmes.
• Skilled in differentiation, visual supports, and assistive tech—you know the tools and when to use them.
• Patient, adaptable, and solution-focused—with the communication skills to build trust with pupils, staff, and families alike.
• DBS-ready—an active Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to obtain one fast.
• Reference-perfect—with two recent, strong professional references.
