Job Description:

Prospero Teaching is seeking individuals interested in a career as an SEN TA. Previous experience working with children or supporting adults with additional needs is preferred, but we also consider applicants with no experience who are eager to start.

We collaborate with a large organisation providing education support to individuals with moderate and complex learning difficulties, autism, speech & language challenges, and social, emotional & mental health needs.

Teaching assistants will support students aged 5-16 throughout their academic day, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

The role involves:

• Providing tailored support to children with SEMH and SEN
• Creating a safe, engaging environment for learning and development
• Offering academic support individually or in small groups
• Assisting the classroom teacher

Ideal Candidate:

• A teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not mandatory
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, either voluntarily or professionally, OR
• Experience working with children in youth settings

• Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
