Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work with students who have diverse special educational needs across multiple schools in the Swindon area.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with various needs, including challenging behaviors, in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
We seek a nurturing, empathetic, and resilient individual passionate about supporting students with SEN. You should have a caring approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage challenging behaviors calmly. Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is required, along with knowledge of conditions like autism, ADHD, or dyslexia.
We work across Swindon, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath, NE Somerset, Somerset, South Glos, and surrounding areas. Even if the role isn't in your area, we encourage you to apply for nearby opportunities.
