Job summary

Academics is proud to be working with a welcoming and well-resourced Special Educational Needs school in Huddersfield that caters for pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and complex communication needs. We are seeking a Special Educational Needs Teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You will plan differentiated lessons, collaborate with therapists and support staff, assess progress and provide detailed reports.

Qualifications

  • QTS or QTLS is essential.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN (in mainstream or specialist settings).
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, flexible and compassionate approach to teaching.

Responsibilities
