Job summary

DRB Ignite Multi Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional SENDCo to lead inclusive education across a four-form entry school. You will work alongside the current SENDCo to raise standards, inspire staff, and develop high-quality SEND provision.

You will be responsible for leading SEND strategy with the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring every pupil experiences great teaching and support. A commitment to safeguarding and professional collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead across the school and work with the current SENDCo to deliver outstanding SEND provision.
• Develop whole-school strategy for SEND and support the SLT in implementing inclusive practice.
• Ensure safeguarding and DBS checks are completed in line with Safer Recruitment and policy requirements.
