Job summary

GSL Education seeks a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a Southwark school, starting ASAP. The role runs 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, long-term and full-time, with a September 2026 start date.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ASD/SEN children in a school setting.
• Recent primary school-based experience.
• Able to provide 1:1 support for SEN students.
• Ability to work flexibly across KS1–KS2.
• DBS check registered on the Update Service.
• Two to three professional references covering 2–3 years of employment.
• Proof of right to work in the UK and proof of National Insurance.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting ASD/SEN children
• Recent primary school-based experience
• Able to support with SEN on a 1:1 basis
• Able to support different children with a range of SEN needs
• Able to be flexible and work across KS1-KS2

• A valid DBS registered on the update service.
• 2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history.
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Proof of national insurance
• Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
