Comhairle nan Eilean Siar seeks a Special Carer at Grianan Day Centre. This part-time role (22.5 hours per week, permanent) offers a salary of £18,704 to £19,419 per annum, inclusive of £1,822 Distant Islands Allowance.

You will support adults with additional needs to maximise inclusion and outcomes. Experience with people with additional needs is required; SVQ Level II in Care or equivalent is preferred, with training available within 36 months.

Competenze

• Experience of working with people with additional needs.
• Willing to undertake SVQ II in Care if not already held, within 36 months.
• Must wear PPE as required.

Mansioni

• Promote inclusion, independence and planned outcomes for adults with support needs.
• Work across a variety of settings, including overnight support where necessary.
