Job summary

Airbus in Stevenage offers an internship in propulsion engineering within its Propulsion team. You will support the design, analysis and procurement of propulsion systems and tanks across varied projects, including space exploration initiatives.

The role targets undergraduates with leadership experience and a passion for engineering and space, with flexible/hybrid working options depending on the role.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole duration of the placement.
• Please inform your graduation date on your application.
• Studying towards a degree in Science or Engineering (or similar).
• Interest/passion for Engineering and Space.

Responsibilities

• Generate propulsion system specifications and perform propulsion design, performance and analysis for chemical propulsion systems.
• Prepare spacecraft system test plans, test requirement preparation and verification analysis.
• Undertake design and structural analysis of Airbus tanks and associated pipework.
• Deliver presentations at project design reviews and support R&D activities.
