Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage invites undergraduates to join our Antenna Delivery project team as a Project Management Intern for 12 months starting 19 July 2026. You will contribute to coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and supporting delivery of spaceflight hardware, with exposure to budgets and schedules.

This placement offers 37 hours per week with flexible working and hybrid options, and you will work alongside experienced project managers to develop practical engineering

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Physics, Business or equivalent.
• Experience working on engineering projects either in university or in a work environment.
• Teamwork, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the project management team in day-to-day coordination, including tracking project scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
• Contributing to the preparation of customer-facing reviews and essential project communications.
• Developing a foundational understanding of project management principles, risk management, and supply chain coordination within an aerospace context.
• Collaborating effectively within diverse, multi-disciplinary teams to drive project progress.
• Utilizing industry-standard tools (including Google Suite and Microsoft Office) to prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and documentation.
