Job summary

HE Space is seeking a procurement and project support professional to enable ESA programme delivery from Harwell (UK) or Noordwijk (NL). You will manage procurement actions, maintain data integrity, and produce financial analyses for programme leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor-level degree and 5+ years in project support, procurement or finance, plus strong Excel skills and fluent English. Collaborative teamwork in an international setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in project support, administration, procurement, finance or a similar role.
• Good organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in an international and multicultural environment.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Supporting procurement and project control activities across ESA programmes.
• Implementing and managing procurement actions, contracts and financial documentation in ESA systems.
• Monitoring workflows, approvals and procurement performance indicators.
• Maintaining procurement, geo-return and planning data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Supporting contract management, milestone tracking and contract close-out activities.
• Producing reports, KPIs and financial analyses for programme management.
• Contributing to process optimisation and the implementation of new tools and procedures.
• Supporting manpower planning, budget monitoring and audit activities.
• Coordinating governance documentation and approval processes.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support successful programme delivery.
