Job summary

Crowne Plaza London Docklands is seeking an experienced Spa Therapist to join our wellness team. You will deliver a range of treatments in a tranquil, customer‑focused setting, ensuring guests leave relaxed and satisfied.

We require a minimum of 1 year spa experience and qualifications such as ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO or NVQ3. Strong English communication and impeccable grooming are essential for delivering exceptional service in our hotel environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of spa experience performing a wide range of treatments.
• ITEC/CIBTAC/CIDESCO or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in beauty treatments and massage.
• Good English communication and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Offer high quality professional spa treatments in a serene environment.
• Prepare and restock treatment room; ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure exceptional customer care, addressing guest wellness needs and preferences.
• Handle guest requests with empathy, especially for celebrations or special occasions.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SPA THERAPIST AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Offering high quality professional treatments in a serene and relaxing environment
• Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the treatment room.
• Ensure exceptional customer, always considering the wellness needs and concerns of our guests.
• As a Spa Therapist you will handle special requests from guests, including preferences for therapists and treatment methods, as well as show intuition and empathy, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Previous experience in a Spa - at least 1 year, as a beauty therapist performing a wide range of treatments
• Qualifications- ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO or NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in all beauty treatments and massage including deep tissue massage and electrical facial and body treatments.
• Knowledge of treatments, contra-indications and skincare retail sales is desirable
• Strong verbal communication skills – English is the primary language used in our hotel.
• Immaculate personal grooming standards
