Responsibilities
- Perform treatments in Spa Space, Jetty Spa, Guests Spa Lodges, and Suites.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of all spa treatments and products used, including ESPA and Pure Lakes.
- Provide treatments to the highest standards, following correct protocols (training provided).
- Conduct full consultations with guests, understanding contraindications.
- Host spa trials and oversee guest use of spa facilities.
- Upsell treatments and retail products to enhance guest experience and generate revenue.
- Recognize and celebrate guests' special occasions.
- Manage spa reservations, respond to emails promptly, and send confirmation emails.
- Assist the Spa Manager with daily operations and report in their absence.
- Maintain excellent time management and knowledge of Gilpin Hotel and Lake House practices.
- Report low stock levels to the Spa Manager or deputy.
- Keep spa areas clean, well-presented, and stocked.
- Clean facilities and manage laundry per departmental standards.
- Report guest issues promptly.
- Process charges via EPOS system and PDQ.
- Achieve retail targets set by management.
- Unpack and store stock upon arrival.
- Complete daily handovers and end-of-day banking.
- Report health and safety issues and adhere to standards.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe work environment.
- Present a professional appearance, with long hair tied back and good personal hygiene.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar establishment preferred.
- Relevant treatment qualifications.
- Experience in face-to-face guest interactions essential.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Exceptional customer service and listening skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Motivated with a goal-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to undertake additional duties.
- Good health and fitness for the role.
- Ability to act as First Aid Aider or Fire Warden.
Additional Information
Salary: £ to £ per hours (approx. £25,480 to £27,560, pro rata)
Gratuities are allocated based on development tiers, averaging from £240 to £550 per month, pro rata.
Plus retail sales commission.
Hours: 40 hours/week, part-time options available.
