Job Description

Scope of Position

Your role involves performing spa treatments within the spa and wellness department at Raffles London OWO. You will deliver treatments safely and professionally, stay updated on trends and protocols, and work closely with other hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for the spa, representing brand values and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Be knowledgeable about treatments, products, and spa facilities.
• Perform treatments safely, hygienically, and professionally.
• Recommend aftercare and promote spa retail products.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of treatment rooms and equipment.
• Report for appointments punctually and review them thoroughly.
• Maintain courteous and friendly interactions with guests and colleagues.
• Assist in spa operations, including reception and thermal areas.

Health and Safety

• Report hazards and follow safety procedures.
• Be familiar with emergency protocols.
• Ensure safety of persons and property by adhering to laws and anticipating hazards.
• Promote health and safety awareness within the department.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential

• Maintain current professional license.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a spa therapist.
• Passion for wellness and experience in luxury spas.
• Enthusiasm and commitment to excellent service.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high service levels.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work a 24-hour operational schedule if needed.

Desirable

• Experience in luxury hotel environments with standards like LQA or Forbes 5*.
