Bishopstrow College is seeking a hands-on Spa & Hot Tub Technician to maintain pools, spa facilities and hot tubs to the highest standards. You will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure everything is safe, clean and guest-ready each day.
The role emphasizes practical work, reliability and a proactive approach to maintenance, with early starts and a 5-out-of-7 rota. On-site meals and team benefits support a welcoming, diverse team environment.
Be our Spa & Hot Tub Technician, but most importantly, be you!
Voted into the Times' 100 Best Places, Bishopstrow is a whimsical country house hotel set within 30 acres of glorious Wiltshire countryside and there's genuinely nowhere quite like it. Gregarious rooms, a newly launched spa, The Grill restaurant, and a kitchen garden that feeds both all wrapped up in Georgian elegance with a healthy dose of colour and imagination.
We're in the middle of an exciting chapter right now. New suites, a reimagined kitchen garden restaurant, and a spa that's causing quite a stir. If you want to be part of something that's growing, evolving, and always a little bit surprising, this is the place.
Much like the hotel itself imaginative, warm, and never boring. We're a playful team who back each other to stay unconventional, whether you're brand new to hospitality or this is your life's work. Our community is diverse, inclusive, and genuinely big-hearted; the kind of place where you're encouraged to be fully, unapologetically yourself.
We care deeply about our guests, each other, and the wider community. And yes we're absolutely serious about giving people a bloody good time.
Monthly service payments (Tronc) on top of your monthly pay

You’ll be the person helping to keep our pools, spa facilities and hot tubs looking fantastic, working perfectly and ready for our guests to enjoy.
Working closely with our Property Manager, no two days will be quite the same!
Keep everything running smoothly – From our pools and outdoor hot tubs to those in our guest rooms, you'll make sure everything is safe, clean and ready to enjoy.
Get hands-on – Carry out daily checks, routine maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs, spotting problems before they become bigger ones.
Know your water – Take responsibility for water testing, chemical levels, pool plant equipment and keeping our facilities safe and compliant.
Keep on top of the detail – Maintain accurate records of checks, water quality and maintenance. Health and safety is a big part of this role.
Be part of the wider team – Work alongside Spa, Housekeeping, Front Office and Maintenance to make sure everything comes together for a great guest experience.
You’ll have some previous experience working with pools, spas, hot tubs or wet leisure facilities, along with a good understanding of water hygiene and safe working practices.
Ideally, you’ll already have a Pool Plant Operator qualification (STA Level 3 or equivalent), but if not, you’ll be happy to achieve this within your first three months.
Most importantly, you’re practical, reliable, have a great eye for detail and are comfortable taking responsibility for getting things done properly.
This is a hands‑on role working 5 days out of 7, including weekends, with early starts typically from 6:30am to get everything ready for our guests.
Compensation: Competitive salary
