Away Resorts is seeking a friendly hot tub technician at Woodland Lakes Lodges, Thirsk, Yorkshire. You will maintain hot tubs on site, perform daily tests, and adjust chemicals to ensure guest satisfaction. Flexibility on weekends/bank holidays is required, with opportunities for career progression within a dynamic UK holiday company.

• Look after hot tubs on site and ensure they are functioning correctly.

Salary:£12.71 per hour - paid weekly!

We need you to be our friendly hot tub hero, who delivers delight by making sure that our guests’ hot tubs are working, ready, and waiting whenever they feel like taking a dip.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be helping to look after all our hot tubs on site. You’ll make sure they are working properly, drain and fill them on changeover days and test them every day, adjusting the chemicals if you need to.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing, holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on weekends and bank holidays too.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need

We’ll provide training, but you must:

• Have a friendly and helpful attitude when you meet guests and be good at communicating within your team.
• Have a talent for practical jobs and for troubleshooting when problems arise.
• Be open to learning – experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn
• Be willing to turn your hand to anything – guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs and ready to help.

Nice to have but not essential
