Job summary

Comis Hotel & Golf Resort on the Isle of Man is seeking an experienced Spa Manager or Senior Beauty/Spa Therapist ready to move into management. This is a hands-on leadership role with roughly 50% treatment delivery and 50% team leadership, guest experience, commercial performance and day-to-day spa operations.

You will lead, motivate and develop the team, deliver high-quality treatments, manage bookings and drive revenue while maintaining service standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Beauty/Spa Therapy qualification or equivalent.
• Experience as Spa Manager, Spa Supervisor or Senior Therapist.
• Strong leadership and guest-care focus.
• Commercial awareness with targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the team of Spa Therapists.
• Deliver professional spa treatments to a high technical standard.
• Manage bookings, rotas, scheduling and daily spa operations.
• Drive treatment, retail and revenue performance.
• Monitor costs, targets and departmental KPIs.
• Maintain excellent guest service, cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
• Support the promotion of spa services, offers and social media activity.

Hours: Full-Time | Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity for either an established Spa Manager or an experienced Senior Therapist with strong leadership potential who is looking to progress their career.

This is a hands-on management position, with approximately 50% of the role involving the delivery of spa treatments and the remainder focused on team leadership, guest experience, commercial performance and day-to-day spa operations.

Requirements

About You

• NVQ Level 3 Beauty/Spa Therapy qualification or equivalent – essential
• Experience as a Spa Manager, Spa Supervisor or Senior Beauty/Spa Therapist
• Strong practical treatment skills and a passion for wellness and guest care
• Leadership experience or the confidence and ability to take the next step into a management role
• Commercial awareness and the ability to work towards treatment, retail and revenue targets
• Excellent communication, organisation and people skills
• Confident using booking and scheduling systems
• Flexible to work weekends and variable hours as required
• Knowledge of Elemis products would be advantageous
