Job summary

Pennyhill Park, part of the Exclusive Collection, is seeking a Spa Duty Manager to lead day‑to‑day Spa operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences at one of the UK’s premier spa destinations.

You will mentor the Spa team, uphold luxe standards, and drive service excellence across facilities, ensuring safety and seamless guest journeys in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in spa, wellness or luxury hospitality.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
• Industry-relevant qualification (Degree / HND / Advanced GNVQ).
• Experience training and developing staff and leading operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Spa is maintained to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Deliver a seamless and memorable guest journey, resolving concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Act as a visible and approachable presence within the Spa, building positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Support development and continuous improvement of SOPs and procedures.
• Drive revenue opportunities through upselling spa treatments, experiences and retail products.
• Lead, support and develop Spa team members, ensuring service standards and performance.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety standards, procedures and company policies.
• Support the wider Spa management team in achieving objectives and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Spa Duty Manager, you will be a leader, mentor and ambassador for exceptional guest experiences. Our Spa Duty Manager will:

• Ensure the Spa is maintained to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and housekeeping at all times
• Deliver a seamless and memorable guest journey, resolving any concerns professionally and efficiently
• Act as a visible and approachable presence within the Spa, building positive relationships with guests and colleagues
• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of operational procedures and SOPs
• Drive revenue opportunities through the promotion and upselling of Spa treatments, experiences and retail products
• Lead, support and develop Spa team members, ensuring service standards and performance expectations are consistently achieved
• Monitor compliance with health and safety standards, operational procedures and company policies
• Support the wider Spa management team in achieving departmental objectives and delivering exceptional service standards

Person Specification

You will be a passionate, organised and guest-focused leader who thrives in a luxury Spa environment and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences. As our Spa Duty Manager you'll bring:

• Previous supervisory experience within a Spa, wellness or luxury hospitality environment
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service
• An industry-relevant qualification, such as a Degree, HND or Advanced GNVQ
• Experience supporting team training, development and operational processes
• Confidence in managing day-to-day operations, guest experience and health and safety responsibilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A professional, flexible and enthusiastic approach to leadership and guest care
