Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across South Manchester on a supply basis. The role involves supervising small groups or working 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3, and assisting teachers in the classroom across Early Years to Key Stage 2.

Strong behaviour management is essential. Right to Work in the UK is required, and an enhanced DBS or willingness to process one is needed. Some roles may lead to longer-term bookings.

Qualifications

• Holding Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to obtain
• Two professional references covering last two years, including child-related work experience
• CV with any gaps in employment or study clearly shown

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in Early Years through KS2 on a supply basis
• Supervise small groups or work 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 with students
• Assist the class teacher in day-to-day activities
• Participate in safeguarding and classroom management as required
