Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester and surrounding areas. These roles include daily supply, short-term and long-term placements with flexible hours.

We seek reliable TAs who can quickly settle into classrooms, build positive relationships with pupils and support teachers and learners effectively. Aspire People provides dedicated consultant support and access to a large network of schools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
• Confident supporting pupils across different year groups.
• Strong understanding of classroom routines and expectations.
• Good behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to use initiative.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Providing classroom, 1:1 and small-group support.
• Assisting with Maths, English, phonics and wider curriculum activities.
• Helping pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning.
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Working alongside teachers to provide additional support where needed.
• Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
