The Teller’s Arms on Farnham’s Castle Street is seeking a live-out Sous Chef to be the anchor of our premium kitchen. You’ll lead, inspire, and develop a brigade of chefs in a busy, high-volume operation.

You’ll help write and launch seasonal menus, mentor junior team members, and support the Head Chef with kitchen financials, food safety, and stock control. This role offers growth as internal promotions are common.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with fresh, quality ingredients in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Hands-on leader who enjoys training and mentoring junior chefs.
• Able to write and launch innovative menus with seasonal specials.
• Solid understanding of kitchen controls including GP targets, stock, waste and labour.
