Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team and help create exceptional dining experiences for guests. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, train junior chefs, and ensure food safety and cost controls are in place.

You will support the Head Chef, develop a collaborative team, and respond to guest feedback to maintain high satisfaction. The role offers opportunities for career development through training and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Understand branded menu operations.
• Experience managing orders, stocks and forecast against occupancy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Good financial knowledge to manage costs within the department budget.

Responsibilities

What will I be doing?

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
• Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
• Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
• Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback
  You will have the ability to create a culture of support and actively encourages teamwork.
• Willingness to challenge if standards aren't meeting required levels.
• A chef with a passion for great food and service.

What skills do I need?
