Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a talented Sous Chef at Heythrop Park to lead the culinary team and uphold branded menu standards. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, train junior chefs, and ensure top quality and food safety across all stations.

With a focus on cost management and guest satisfaction, you will collaborate with the Head Chef to sustain premium dining experiences within a large branded hotel setting in the Cotswolds.

Qualifications

• Understands the importance of working with a branded menu.
• Experience managing orders, food stocks and forecast against occupancy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department’s budget.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and ensuring stations are organised for service.
• Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive, collaborative environment.
• Ensuring food safety standards in storage, handling and cooking techniques.
• Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
• Supporting Head Chef in maintaining high guest satisfaction and addressing feedback.

What will I be doing?

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
• Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
• Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
• Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback
