Job summary

White Hart, Barnes, located by the Thames and near central London, is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will lead a small, friendly team and work with the Head Chef to deliver quality, seasonal dishes in a welcoming environment.

You will have autonomy to create menus and specials, access to training, free meals, and a package including pension and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a natural leader with hands-on cooking skills.
• Strong communication and team development abilities.
• Experience championing excellent service through quality food.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the kitchen team.
• Manage rota, training, and health and safety in the kitchen.
• Design and deliver new dishes and daily specials with Head Chef.
• Monitor GP and labour, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
• Drive sales and growth through kitchen and FOH collaboration.
