Job summary

Marston's PLC, a leading local pub company in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Sous Chef to be second in command in the kitchen and to support the Head Chef on shift. You will run the line during service, oversee the kitchen team, and drive high standards of food and service.

You will have branded kitchen experience or be an experienced Commis Chef, with a passion for developing skills and delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous branded kitchen experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Ability to assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
• Capable of running the line during service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef - stepping up and covering for them when they're not on shift.
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.
