Job summary

Pho Exeter is seeking a Sous Chef to join our busy Pho restaurant in Exeter. Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it's important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.

Annual salary offer of up to £42,500 is made up of a base annual salary £34,700 plus earnings received through tronc.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chefs passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum 1 year in role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen and mentoring team.
• Strong knowledge in food safety and managing health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef with managerial duties in a busy Pho kitchen.
• Mentor wok chefs, lines chefs and salad chefs.
• Ensure food safety and health compliance across the kitchen.
