Job summary

Vintage Inns is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen within The Crown. You will run a section, train and motivate your team, and support the Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control. You’ll ensure brand standards and health & hygiene compliance are met, while embracing flexible shifts and Growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Health and hygiene regulations knowledge
• Ability to lead and train a kitchen team
• Experience working with a branded menu

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
• Hours: Full Time.
• Flexible shifts to work around your lifestyle.

• Progression opportunities; on average 200 Chefs promoted to Head Chef each year.
