JW Lees in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You will lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and play a key role in menu development and stock control.

Qualifications

• Previous sous chef or head chef experience is essential.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high standards.
• Experience delivering 5* scores and quality food.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Assist with menu development and stock management.
• Maintain a safe, compliant kitchen environment.
• Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff.
• Ensure high standards and attention to detail to deliver quality dishes.
• Motivate the team and support training of junior staff.
