Job summary

Hotel Indigo Gloucester is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to join our team on a full-time contract. The salary offered is £38,000 per year, with overtime paid at the end of the month. You will work closely with the Restaurant and Bars manager to deliver a coordinated F&B experience in a busy hotel setting.

You will lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Head Chef, develop local dishes, and mentor the chef team while upholding brand standards and food safety.

Qualifications

• Senior Chef De Partie or Sous Chef experience in a similar sized property.
• Level 3 Food Safety certification and HACCP knowledge.
• Experience with Micros Simphony or similar POS systems and Procure Wizard.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate F&B approach with the Restaurant and Bars manager.
• Oversee kitchen operations, production, cleanliness, and safe systems in the absence of the Executive Head Chef.
• Create and develop dishes celebrating local cuisine and current trends.
• Train and upskill the Chef team to ensure high-quality guest experiences.
