Job summary

Navigation Inn is seeking an energetic Front of Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You’ll lead by example, train and develop junior chefs, and help manage rosters and daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced guest-focused environment.

We offer a competitive salary up to £34,000 plus Tronc, free meals on shift, flexible shifts, enhanced holidays, and 33% off hotel stays. Award-winning training provides a clear pathway to General Manager.

Qualifications

Be a strong Leader with ability to train, coach and develop junior chefs.
At least 1 year experience as a Sous/junior Sous chef.
Great communication skills.
Right to Work in the UK.
Excellent culinary and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Work with Head Chef and management to run the kitchen.
Experience working with company defined menus and recipes.
Manage staff rosters and allocate work details.
Train and grow the team to meet standards.
Order food, control stock and ensure correct storage.
Maintain high hygiene and presentation standards at all times.
Comply with food safety, fire, health and safety, licensing and employment laws.
