Butcombe Group is seeking a Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen in stunning locations across the UK. You will work alongside the Head Chef to ensure smooth, safe and efficient kitchen operations, while delivering exceptional dishes.

We are looking for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment, coaches others, and takes pride in presentation. A focus on teamwork and growth within a renowned hospitality group is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior chefs.
• Commitment to high standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef to run the kitchen smoothly, safely and efficiently.
• Support with food preparation, service and day-to-day kitchen management.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Coach and mentor chefs within the team and share knowledge.
• Help manage stock, ordering and kitchen compliance.
• Step in for Head Chef when needed and support wider kitchen development.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, high-performing kitchen culture.
