Job summary

Novotel Wolverhampton is seeking a Sous Chef to report to the Head Chef, ensuring seamless kitchen operations, integrating with the front of house team to ensure smooth service. Deputise in the absence of the Head Chef.

Straight shifts with flexilbilty to cover the business needs. Key responsibilities include ensuring every dish is prepared to the highest standards, ordering to maintain full menu and minimize wastage, daily HACCP procedures, health and safety compliance, and training kitchen

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Food Safety is required.
• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a busy hotel kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills and leadership with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every dish is prepared and executed to the highest standards.
• Order food to maintain full menu availability and minimize wastage.
• Daily HACCP procedures and due diligence.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for audits.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high food standards.
