ABode Chester, part of Andrew Brownsword Hotels, sits in Chester with its contemporary design and 85 stylish bedrooms. We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to back up the Head Chef in creating exciting dishes for guests in a busy kitchen environment.

You will work alongside a talented team to manage allergen procedures, kitchen safety, and efficient stock control. The role offers clear development pathways and a supportive, people-focused culture in a superb city setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar hotel kitchen environment.
• Able to support the Head Chef in busy kitchen operations.
• Experience with allergen management and safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in running a busy kitchen.
• Create exciting and delicious dishes.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety.
• Write the allergen matrix with Head Chef.
• Oversee ordering and stock control via Procure Wizard.
• Help manage rotas and cover shifts as needed.
