Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa is looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Shropshire. You will support the Head Chef, deputise in their absence, and ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation while maintaining compliance with Food Safety regulations.

You will lead, train and motivate the brigade, contribute to menu planning, monitor deliveries, manage stock and costs, and help drive a culture of excellence in a busy hotel kitchen.

Qualifikationen

• Sous Chef or exceptional Chef de Partie seeking their first Sous Chef role.
• Flexible shifts including weekends; mornings or evenings.
• Standards-driven with strong organisational skills.
• Able to lead and motivate the team day-to-day.
• Experience managing costs and stock.

Aufgaben

• Support Head Chef in running the Kitchen and Team.
• Deputise for Head Chef in their absence and maintain consistency.
• Supervise, train and motivate staff to meet standards.
• Plan and implement new menus.
• Monitor deliveries and maintain stock levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with Food Safety Regulations.
• Manage budgeted gross profit through controlling wastage and portioning.
