Old Gate Inn is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train staff and step up in the Head Chef’s absence. You’ll drive great food and a cohesive team in a warm, guest‑facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food you’re proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Master the branded menu and maintain brand standards.
• Confidently manage Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
