Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and lead by example. You’ll be second in command to the Head Chef, ensuring hot, quality dishes are prepared for service and presented to the pass consistently.

You’ll manage the kitchen on busy shifts, support the Head Chef, and help develop the team while upholding Marston’s renowned standards and guest experience across our pubs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a branded kitchen or as a Commis Chef.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee and develop the kitchen team, helping to enhance skills.
• Maintain the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in the kitchen as second to the Head Chef.
• Cover the Head Chef on chosen shifts.
• Run the line during service and ensure quality presentation.
