Job summary

Loungers plc invites applications for a full-time Sous Chef at Martino Lounge, our local café bar. You’ll lead kitchen shifts, support the Head Chef, and drive high standards from prep to plate in a fast-paced, friendly team.

We offer a competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), paid overtime and real progression opportunities across our growing brand. Enjoy staff meals, discounts from day one, and great development programmes.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie
• Ability to lead service and manage kitchen shifts
• Strong eye for quality, pace, hygiene and safety

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate
• Support Head Chef and cover in their absence
• Maintain high standards on the pass and kitchen routines
• Oversee prep, par, stock, waste, orders and handovers
• Coach and develop junior chefs on shift
