Job summary

Caravan Southbank in London invites a dedicated Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen as we open a new two-floor restaurant. You’ll set the standard for health and safety, guide the team, and ensure every dish meets our high standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences from day one.

You’ll work with the Head Chef and management to nurture talent, maintain top-level hygiene, and drive consistent, excellent service across shifts as the restaurant grows.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for fresh ingredients and guest experience.
• Ability to coach and develop junior chefs.
• Strong understanding of health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set health & safety standards and deliver excellence.
• Ensure dishes are prepared consistently to spec.
• Lead by example and foster hospitality.
• Coach, train and develop the kitchen team.
• Onboard new team members with engaging training.
• Manage stock, costs, cleanliness, and safety basics.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to deliver guest experiences.
