Job summary

Caravan Southbank in London is recruiting a Head Chef to lead a high-function kitchen as we open a new two-floor, multi-bar site this November. You will inspire and develop the team, uphold health and safety standards, and ensure every dish meets best-in-class quality and consistency.

Join us to craft exceptional hospitality, train and coach staff, manage stock and costs, and collaborate with the broader restaurant team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Setting and managing the standards for health & safety and delivering excellence across the kitchen
• Making sure every dish is made consistently, confidently and to spec
• Leading by example and helping create the kind of hospitality people want to come back for
• Coaching, training and developing the kitchen team, sharing your knowledge as you go
• Giving new team members a great start through engaging training and onboarding
• Keeping on top of stock, costs, cleanliness, health & safety and all the brilliant basics that make a great kitchen work
• Working closely with the wider restaurant team to give every guest the best experience possible
