Job summary

Caravan Southbank in London is opening its tenth Caravan and is looking for a brilliant Head Chef to lead our kitchen from day one. You’ll join a two-floor venue with multiple bars and opportunities to shape guest experiences from day one.

You’ll set the highest standards for health and safety, culture and hospitality, lead from the front and coach the team to deliver dishes you’re proud to serve. There’s real room to grow within a dynamic, globally inspired brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and inspiring a kitchen team.
• Strong focus on health & safety, culture, hospitality.
• Ability coach, train and onboard kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Set and manage the standards for health & safety and delivering excellence across the kitchen
• Make sure every dish is made consistently, confidently and to spec
• Lead by example and help create hospitality people want to come back for
• Coach, train and develop the kitchen team, sharing knowledge as you go
• Give new team members a great start through engaging training and onboarding
• Keep on top of stock, costs, cleanliness, health & safety and all the basics
