Job summary

Hallmark Luxury Care Homes is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, from-scratch meals for residents. You will lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, craft innovative menus, and ensure top dining standards while upholding hygiene and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience in a luxury setting preferred.
• Strong communication with team and residents.
• Reliable, punctual and able to manage time well.

• Approachable and diplomatic interactions with team and residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen when Head Chef is absent.
• Develop innovative menus with the culinary team.
• Prepare high-quality, from-scratch dishes using fresh produce.
• Assist Head Chef with stock control and budget oversight.
• Conduct regular audits to uphold food safety standards.
• Ensure dining experiences meet residents with high quality.
