Côte in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen and work closely with the Head Chef. You’ll oversee line cooks, manage service, and ensure quality across all dishes while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Reporting to the Head Chef and GM, you’ll help develop the team, run tastings, and keep the kitchen running smoothly across all shifts, with a focus on flavour, provenance and seasonal menus.

Formación

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Proven ability to run kitchen operations efficiently.
• Exceptional cooking and plating quality under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a kitchen team and coordinate with Head Chef on service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Assist Head Chef and General Manager to ensure optimal shift performance.
