Miller & Carter - Fleet is looking for a Sous Chef who will lead a kitchen section, train staff, and step in for the Head Chef when needed. You’ll work to maintain the high standards of a branded menu and ensure health and hygiene compliance while managing chefs and the wider kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a kitchen
• Ability to train and motivate a team
• Experience in food preparation and portion control
• Experience with stock management and food orders
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations in a busy kitchen

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality
• Train and inspire staff to execute standards and recipes
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control
• Work with a branded menu and maintain section discipline
• Manage chefs and wider kitchen team and ensure health/hygiene compliance
