Job summary

Bupa's Richmond Village Northampton is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences for residents, guests, and spa visitors. You will lead with creativity and a passion for food in a dynamic kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency across all service periods.

This role focuses on menu adherence, dietary accommodations, and maintaining high hygiene standards in a collaborative team setting, with opportunities to advance in a people-centered

Qualifications

• Passionate about food with professional kitchen experience.
• NVQ or City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or equivalent.
• Innovative, organised and able to stay calm during busy service.
• Team player able to work with others to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond to residents' dietary needs and requests regarding the menu.
• Assist in preparation and serving on the hotplate as required.
• Ensure food is used within the prescribed period, pay attention to perishables.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe and hygienic dining environment for residents.
