Cornwall Staff Agency Ltd is assisting a prestigious luxury coastal hotel in Cornwall in recruiting a Sous Chef. The role offers a salary of £38,000-£43,000 plus tronc and live-in accommodation, with a focus on seasonal, local produce and an exemplary standard of cuisine.

The successful candidate will lead, train and inspire a dedicated kitchen brigade while upholding the property’s reputation for outstanding hospitality and sea-to-table cooking.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel or quality-led kitchen.
• Michelin-starred or Michelin-recognised experience is highly desirable.
• Strong technical ability and high culinary standards.
• Experience supporting, developing and leading a professional brigade.
• Passion for seasonal, local and sustainable produce.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Maturity and professionalism to operate at a high level.
• Desire to build a long-term career within one property.
