Warner Leisure Hotels at Thoresby Hall invites a talented Sous Chef to lead the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests on site. You will oversee kitchen operations, train junior chefs, and drive food safety, inventory control, and cost management in a branded hospitality environment.

The role requires a passion for high-quality service and collaboration, with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork within a dynamic hotel setting.

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
• Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
• Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
• Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback

Join our team at Thoresby Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 221-bedroom hotel features original architecture, a Great Hall with deep armchairs, and overlooks acres of classic parkland.

Salary: £29,000 – £35,000

What will I be doing?

• Understands the important of working with a branded menu.
• Experience of managing orders, food stocks and forecast against occupancy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department’s budget.
