Job summary

Perfect Recruitment Ltd. are working with an established food-led venue in the Bolton area to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and passionate chef with a strong background in high-volume, fresh food kitchens. You’ll play an important role in supporting the Head Chef and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen role.
• Strong background in high-volume, fresh food kitchens.
• Organised and reliable, able to lead under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare, cook and present high-quality fresh food.
• Lead, motivate and support the kitchen team.
• Ensure smooth, efficient service in a high-volume setting.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Manage stock rotation, storage and waste control.
• Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation.
• Maintain preparation, cleanliness and service standards.
